Crescent Pipe Tongs are manufactured with the highest quality certified materials and manufacturing processes in light weight aluminum alloy, or fabricated high tensile steel, in dimensions of 4 to 147 inches. Each tong is stamped with a safety load limit (which should never be exceeded) and for enhanced safety has been built to withstand 3 times the rated load.
All tongs conform to applicable state and federal safety standards, and comply with OSHA safety orders. Instructions for their safe and proper use are provided with each shipment of Crescent Pipe Tongs.

Valve Can Clean Out
Access to underground valves is provided by a valve can that extends from the valve to the surface of the ground. When the can lid is placed at ground or street level, silt and other debris often accumulates in the can, making it very difficult to reach and operate the valve nut.
These clean out tools are designed to fit a standard 2” valve key to gain quick access to the operation nut of the valve.
Customer will need to Procure the 2" Square Valve Key, due to the many lengths \tThat could be required. Valve Clean out bits will need to be drilled to attach the key with Bolt.
